Josh Glicksman

Writer

Josh Glicksman is an assistant editor at Billboard. Prior to joining the magazine in 2018, he had contributed to publications such as Entertainment Weekly and Consequence. In addition to writing artist profiles — including a 2021 cover story on The Kid LAROI — and pieces related to different facets of the industry, he helps to coordinate coverage for Billboard's Sound section and the Hot 100 Q&A. He primarily covers hip-hop, pop and alternative rock, and primarily listens to the same, including lots of Mac Miller. He has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University and wishes you a very hearty "Go 'Cats." A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he'll spend hours on end trying to convince you that it's a Midwestern city. In his free time, he can be found hiking and looking for the best sandwich shop that the closest city or town has to offer.
